You're guaranteed a war welcome in this traditional Dorset country pub, nestled amongst the fields and lanes of the Blackmore Vale, in the village of Hazelbury Bryan. Outside, there is a lovely garden, offering al fresco drinking and dining during the summer months. Inside, there’s a wonderfully inviting atmosphere at the bar, with its cosy fireplace and traditional oak panelled interior. There is also a cosy “snug” where you can relax on comfy sofas and enjoy a pint and a plate of hearty local food. As a free house, there’s something for everyone – offering a broad range of real ales and ciders, as well as a good selection of wines and spirits. This is a traditional “locals” pub, but still welcomes everyone – families and children, cyclists, walkers and dogs mix freely with tourists and day trippers.
