We are delighted to announce that Gill Meller will be joining Mark and Harriet as an ambassador for Jurassic Feast.
Gill has been working in the food business for over 20 years. Over a decade of those years have been alongside Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall at River Cottage. He currently divides his time between being a chef, food writer, author, food stylist and cookery teacher.
He still teaches at the River Cottage cookery school, and remains a collaborator, developer and stylist on all of the River Cottage books. His cooking reflects his Dorset and Devon surroundings. Inspiration comes from the local landscape, farmers, growers and fisherman that produce the ingredients he works with.
Gill is a fantastic person to have as ambassador of the Jurassic Feast App. He grew up in Dorset and has lived and worked on the Jurassic Coast for his career to date. He is passionate about sourcing quality, ethically and sustainably produced seasonal ingredients, which form the basis of his simple yet beautifully crafted cooking style.
Gill’s ambassadorship supports our mission to champion all the wonderful restaurants, food shops and producers in this beautiful area – you can too by downloading the App!
