Jurassic Feast was founded by friends Ross Travill, Giles Smallwood and Sally Cuthbert. They share a passion for good food, cooking and a sustainable, outdoor lifestyle.
They had a vision to create a digital platform that would showcase the Jurassic Coast's fantastic local food and drink produce for the benefit of locals and tourists.
Jurassic Feast began as a web-based portal providing locals with a one stop shop to all the suppliers, producers and hospitality businesses which provided click and collect and delivery options. It was well received so Ross, Sally and Giles wanted to develop it into a product that would sustain the interest in shopping local and our community’s appreciation of the fantastic food and drink businesses that we have on our doorstep.
We are all thankfully heading towards being ‘conscious consumers’ and supporting local. This benefits all of us as it means great quality produce on our tables, a lower carbon footprint and fosters positive connections between business and consumers. A real win-win!
The Jurassic Feast App offers unique incentives in the form of discounts, offers and other promotions that reward our subscribers with savings and keeps more money in their pockets and in the local economy. As an area heavily reliant on tourism the App also provides a means for businesses to engage with visitors to our area beyond their holiday, facilitating more sales and opportunities.
We are conscious as a company of our own need to do as much as we can for our community and the environment. We are working towards being a Carbon Net Zero company, and 3% of revenue generated from Jurassic Feast goes back to local charities that we support.
